About Daz
Hi l,m Daz, l am a self taught artist, designer and photographer. l have worked for the likes of Universal Studios, Seagrams, TBWA Chiat Day, UCLA, Captain Morgan Rum, Private Jets and much more.
l have been an artist since l was a young child, and have been painting seriously since l was about 17yrs old. l have also been doing photography for over 20 years and although l loved doing it, l never took it seriously, just the love of seeing your visions captured is enough for me.
l recently retired due to disability and find myself in a whole new world, l moved to Ravensthorpe WA about 4 year ago and live on a 25 acre bush block with my 2 dogs, Pepper the Cattle Dog, and Snowy the Greyhound, as you could imagine, its a paradise for 2 dogs, they are never leashed and we walk at least 3 times a day, so they have absolute freedom as they are well trained and behaved. They also ensure we get to explore and keep me both fit and active.
l love Ravensthorpe bedause it has great light, and several areas of contrast, the sheer brilliance of the salmon gums in season, with beautiful pinks and greys to the bright but subdued greens of Salt Bush. It all adds that necessary depth and mixed with some very big uncluttered horizons, and you have many picture perfect moments.
